In addition to ensuring no leakage and anti-corrosion, what other important performance indicators does the valve body have?

Update:16 Oct

Sealing performance:
The sealing parts of the DN100 Industrial Gas Pipe Valve Body Low (such as the contact between the opening and closing parts and the two sealing surfaces of the valve seat, the matching parts between the packing and the valve stem and the stuffing box, etc.) must have good sealing performance to prevent medium leakage. Sealing performance is one of the key indicators to measure valve quality.
Strength and pressure resistance:
The valve body needs to withstand a certain pressure and temperature, so it must have good strength and pressure resistance. This includes mechanical performance indicators such as tensile strength and yield strength to ensure that the valve can still work normally under high pressure and high temperature environments.
Corrosion resistance:
The valve body is usually used to handle various corrosive media, so it must have good corrosion resistance. This requires the valve body material to resist the erosion of the medium and extend its service life.
High temperature resistance:
For valve bodies that need to work in high temperature environments, they must have good high temperature resistance. This requires the valve body material to maintain stable mechanical properties and sealing performance at high temperatures.
Low temperature resistance:
For valve bodies that need to work in low temperature environments, they also need to have good low temperature resistance. This requires that the valve body material is not easy to become brittle at low temperatures and can maintain sufficient strength and toughness.
Fluid resistance:
When the valve body is in the open state, the flow resistance to the medium should be reduced as much as possible to improve the efficiency of the system. This requires the valve body to be reasonably designed and the flow channel to be unobstructed to reduce the pressure loss when the medium passes through.
Opening and closing flexibility and stability:
The opening and closing mechanism of the valve body should be flexible and reliable, rotate freely, and not jam. During the opening and closing process, it should be ensured that the valve action is accurate and there is no leakage. At the same time, the valve body should also have good stability and be able to maintain stable performance in long-term work.
Service life:
The service life of the valve body is one of the important indicators to measure its quality. This requires the valve body material to have good wear resistance, fatigue resistance and other properties to ensure that the valve can still maintain a good working condition during long-term use.
